Journey so far….

After Graduating from Don Bosco College of Engineering, I started my career as Software Engineer at Persistent Systems Verna. I went through a few trainings before I realized my passion for Front-end development. Ever since then I continued to work as Front-end web developer on various projects while at the same time updating my skills. Recently I completed three years with Persistent Systems and also got promoted to Module Lead. Working with Persistent Systems has been a great experience as the company not only focuses on work but also provides opportunities for personal development

What is your message to the current students?

Your degree is important, but it is equally important to be in touch with trends of software industry. Go beyond the syllabus, do mini projects, follow technical blogs and news. It’s not enough to just have technical knowledge, work on you interpersonal skills as well. Try to do the mini projects in teams. This will help you to get familiar with technology, learn how to work in teams, understand you interests. Always remember it is okay to fail or ask for help, you friends and professors are there to help and not judge. Take criticism/feedbacks positively and work on improving yourself. “Learning never ends“& All the best.
