The Civil Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized an online Alumni Talk for the SE, TE and BE Civil Engineering students on July 29, 2020. The session was conducted by Mr. Vivekananda Dessai (Alumnus-2015) and by Mr. Allabaksh Dhavaleshwar (Alumnus-2016). Mr. Vivek has cleared his PGCET and completed his Masters in Technology in Infrastructure and Construction Management at VTU University Bangalore. He spoke about various types of careers in Civil Engineering and the various ways of joining higher studies after completion of Bachelor’s Degree. In the second half of the session Mr. Allabaksh gave a talk on the life cycle phases of a construction project. He has completed his MBA in Construction Project Management. In all, 27 students attended the talk. This event was organized by Prof. Starina Dias, Alumni Committee Faculty Coordinator.
