Journey so far….
After my graduation from Don Bosco College of Engineering, I got placed in Marine Electricals Pvt Ltd. I was appointed as a Trainee Mechanical Engineer. I worked on Autodesk Inventor, where I modeled sheet metal components. After a few years I left the firm and joined Manipal Institute of Technology for higher studies. I earned my Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering. Immediately after my Masters I got appointed as Assistant Professor in Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering.
Please describe what you do in your current position.
I teach heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and metrology. I also handle heat transfer lab, fluid mechanics lab.
What is your message to the current students?
Message: There is lot of job opportunities in the market for those who have the skills. Taking up internships and projects during engineering will definitely help for better career development.
